Welcome to our blog! We are Brooke and Leah and we are excited to start this adventure of blogging, sharing our ideas with all of you, and collaborating with you!
We are two passionate 5th grade teachers who love everything Kagan, hands on learning, technology in the classroom, caffeine, Target, Amazon, and of course Nordstrom! We both teach at the same school and are lucky to be just one classroom away from each other. Yes, we do have our own classrooms, but we pretty much do everything together!
Using technology in the classroom is a big component of our teaching lives because we are fortunate to have 1:1 iPads. You will find a lot of technology ideas here on our blog and posts about how to use it in the classroom. We also love Kagan structures and getting our students up and out of their seats moving, talking, and learning together.
